Offered in the fall and spring semesters, you can meet with college and university representatives and military recruiters to discuss transfer options to continue your education.


Dover Campus:
When: October 10, 2024

Wilmington Campus:
When: October 24, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: McDowell Center, 2nd floor

Stanton Campus:
When: October 24, 2024
Time: Noon - 2 p.m.

Georgetown Campus:
When: October 31, 2024

Getting ready for the Connected Degree Day and Transfer Fair

Meet with college and university representatives and military recruiters to discuss transfer options upon earning an associate degree from Delaware Tech

Create a list of relevant questions to ask about the transfer process and degrees and programs. Scroll down for suggested discussion questions.

Research participating colleges, universities, and military partners and review Delaware Tech’s Connected Degrees; make a prioritized list of colleges, universities, and military partners you want to meet with.

Make sure to review your degree progress and course completion in DegreeWorks.

  • What is the current cost of attendance?
  • Is there a deadline to apply?
  • Will I work with a transfer counselor ?
  • Are there events (i.e. transfer student open house) available?

  • Is there a special application for military veterans?
  • Are scholarships available for military students?

  • What is the cost of attendance?
  • What is the deadline to apply to receive financial aid?
  • Do you offer any additional scholarships for SEED students?
  • Are there scholarships available for transfer students? And how would I apply?
  • For PTK members: Do you offer a PTK scholarship?

  • What is the average number of students per class?
  • How long are your semesters?

  • What resources are available for students on campus? and virtually?

  • Why should I join the (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines?)
  • What are the requirements for joining?
  • What is the minimum length of my service commitment?
  • How long is boot camp / basic training?
  • Can I choose when to go to boot camp?
  • Where will I be stationed after boot camp? Do I have a choice?
